Which Courses Will NSFAS Fund In 2024 -2025

National Student Financial Aid Scheme NSFAS application for the 2024 academic year are now open and will close on January 31st. After the closing date, applications will not be considered. Make sure your preferred course is on the list of courses that NSFAS will fund in 2024 before applying. All NSFAS-funded courses are listed in this article.

NSFAS is for prospective students who wish to continue their education at a public university or TVET college in South Africa but lack the financial resources to do so.

The following documents are required to apply for NSFAS 2024

Applications must be submitted through the NSFAS website and will require the following documentation:

  • A copy of your birth certificate or ID
  • Copy of ID of parents, guardians, or spouse (if applicable)
  • Proof of income or IRP5 (if applicable) for one year
  • Income proof from your parents, guardians, or spouse
  • It is not necessary to provide proof of income if you are a SASSA grant recipient
  • A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form must be submitted by applicants with disabilities, click here to download it
  • A Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form must be completed and signed by the applicant who has been recognized by the Department of Social Development as a Vulnerable Child.

Which Courses Will NSFAS Fund In 2024 -2024

Public universities or TVET colleges are eligible for NSFAS funding only for their first undergraduate degrees, including online and full-time courses.
