A Suspension of UIF Electronic Compliance Certificate System Has Been Announced
A temporary suspension of the Electronic Compliance Certificate (eCC) system has been announced by the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF). The announcement was made on Tuesday earlier this week via the UIF’s official Twitter account. UIF Compliance Certificates and Tender Letters have been temporarily suspended, according to the statement.
Up until the eCC system is back online, UIF compliance requirements will no longer be required for doing business with the Fund, government departments, state entities, private businesses, and non-profits.There is no specific reason given for the suspension of the eCC system, but the UIF advises clients to download a UIF Compliance Circular for more information.
