How To Check If Your Accommodation Is NSFAS Accredited
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme is a government-funded program that provides financial aid to students going to tertiary institutions. Undergraduate students from poor or working-class backgrounds are eligible to apply.
Student allowances are provided by NSFAS to cover registration, tuition, food, learning materials, and accommodations.
Amounts allocated for accommodation for TVET colleges and Universities are as follows:

NSFASÂ does not pay for private accommodation unless it is accredited by the organization. You can check if your accommodation is NSFAS accredited on the website of your tertiary education institution.
