JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
- A Level 7 qualification in Business Administration, Public Policy, Audit or a related field
- Computer literacy – Intermediate MS Package Suite
- Driver’s License
- Understanding of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and Government Planning Processes.
- Monitoring and Evaluation Guidelines/Frameworks on Strategic Planning, Management of Performance Information, and MPAT knowledge.
- Understanding of Parliamentary processes and timelines related to strategic planning and Auditor General compliance and reporting.
- An understanding of performance management reporting, Key Performance Indicators, and Balanced Scorecards.
- Processes, execution, and monitoring of strategic planning
- Extensive experience in strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, performance management, and audit in these fields, of which 5 years should be at a management level
- Skills in project management
- Knowledge of higher education
Preferred:
- Business Administration, Public Policy, Audit or related NQF Level 8

- MANAGER: POLICY AND RESEARCH

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
- NQF level 9
- Experience in public policy and research for 10 years
- An understanding of higher education, TVET colleges, government strategic priorities in relation to post-school education and training, as well as the NSFAS Act and the PFMA
- Experience leading research projects or specialist research for at least five years
- At least 10 publications demonstrating advanced writing skills should be peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed (such as research papers in journals, papers presented at conferences, chapters in books, and books).
- Research experience on postgraduate student funding
Preferred:
- NQF level 10
- Experience funding postgraduate students for 2-5 years
- Publication history demonstrates strong academic and conceptual report writing skills
- Creativity, initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail in a pressured environment, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks and deliverables
- Collaborate effectively with teammates and accept their guidance
- Adapting analysis to specified formats within deadlines and presenting complex information
- Leadership with an internal locus of control
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate initiative
- Engages executives at the executive and strategic levels

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in law or a law degree
- Qualified through Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa or working towards CGISA(CSSA) qualification or equivalent or extensive experience as a company or committee secretary.
- A minimum of five years of experience in company secretarial, governance, legal, or regulatory roles
- Experience working at the executive and board levels in the past
- A strong understanding of both public and private sector Secretariat processes and governance
- A general understanding of the primary legislation that applies. The Companies Act, King IV, and the associated statutes and regulations
