Due to a glitch, students funded by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme would have received a message. Nsfas has now addressed this and gave students further instructions.
Should Nsfas Students Sign A Bursary Agreement Form?
Should National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) bursary holders submit a NSFAS bursary agreement form (NBA)? Students recently asked this question.
As a result of a system glitch, NSFAS students received an email asking them to submit their NBA on myNSFAS.
- Students should now submit their NBAs, according to the organization:
- NSFAS-funded students are not required to sign their NBA.
As part of the NSFAS application process, students must accept the terms and conditions, so the NBA is no longer required. The NSFAS has also stated that payments of NSFAS allowances will not be affected by signing the NBA.
In order to avoid the glitch, Nsfas warned students not to open emails or click on links saying that the official Nsfas email address is [email protected], where the organization would communicate with students.
Students can report any suspicious emails to the Nsfas Vuvuzela hotline using the following ways:
- Call 0860 246 653
- Email [email protected]
- SMS 30916 for a callback
